To present console gamers with the "ultimate Tomb Raider experience," Microsoft recently announced that it will be offering a "Rise of the Tomb Raider" Xbox One Bundle this coming holiday season.

Microsoft states on the official Xbox website that the bundle will be perfect for pre-existing "Tomb Raider" fans around the globe while serving as a great introduction for new gamers of the highly acclaimed action-adventure series.

The "Rise of the Tomb Raider" Xbox One Bundle includes the full game download of Crystal Dynamics' upcoming third-person cinematic action game and Holiday 2015 Xbox exclusive "Rise of the Tomb Raider," along with a digital version of "Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition," the HD remake of the award-winning 2013 game "Tomb Raider."

The bundle also contains the "Tactical Survival Kit" DLC for "Rise of the Tomb Raider." The expansion pack carries new exclusive outfits and weapon skins for the series' titular protagonists Lara Croft. Lastly, the $400 package includes a 1TB Xbox One console with matching wireless controller.

The "Rise of the Tomb Raider" is a sequel to the 2013 reboot "Tomb Raider." It will continue on the adventures of a younger and inexperienced Lara Croft. The game features action-packed set pieces in both vibrant and hostile environments. Gamers will join Lara Croft in her first tomb raiding journey in search for the secret of immortality.

Croft will spend the bulk of the game in Syria and in the freezing Siberian taiga. She must race against time to foil the plans of an ancient clandestine brotherhood known as the Order of Trinity, Game Spot reported.

Gamers can play to their strengths since there are multiple, albeit, equally challenging ways for Croft to accomplish each mission. She can be stealthy or burst her way through enemy territories with newly acquired weapons and combat skills.

"Rise of the Tomb Raider" will see the return of a vital feature in the classic "Tomb Raider" games. This time around, grander tombs will be given much attention and will present gamers with challenging puzzles and obstacles.

The "Rise of the Tomb Raider" is an Xbox-exclusive and will release for Xbox One and Xbox 360 in North America on Nov. 10. Meanwhile, European gamers on Microsoft's console platforms can grab hold of the game starting Nov. 13.

The game will also be released for PS4 and PC, but only after Microsoft's one-year exclusivity deal ends in late 2016.

As for the "Rise of the Tomb Raider" Xbox One Bundle, the package will be available starting Nov. 10, exclusively on the Microsoft Store, Best Buy and participating Xbox One retailers in all markets except Canada, China and the U.K.
