The National Basketball Association's eight annual "Latin Nights" program, titled Noches éne-bé-a (eh-nay-bay-ah), is a yearly function that features seven commemorative games that celebrate the growing support of NBA's Latino fans and players in the U.S. Hispanic communities and abroad.

ABC, TNT, and NBA TV will air four of the games, which will include special telecasts, in-arena festivities, and distinctive NBA team uniforms to be worn by six teams: Chicago Bulls (Los Bulls), San Antonio Spurs (Los Spurs), Phoenix Suns (Los Suns), Los Angeles Lakers (Los Lakers), Miami Heat (El Heat), and New York Knicks (Nueva York). La Ene-Be-A has also coordinated new uniforms for all 30 NBA teams, for the first time; each prepared to wear the stylish and unique Noches éne-bé-a shooting shirts from Adidas during the first two weeks of March.

New York Knicks' seven-time NBA All-Star and Puerto Rican/African American player Carmelo Anthony, who's entwined with the Knicks' 15-game stretch that's included 13 losses, tipped off the ongoing festivities by appearing on the first éne-bé-a original TV commercial to feature an NBA player.

The NBA and Anthony hope to continue to attract the interest of their Latino fans, and the ongoing event geared toward the Latino community will be supported with national television and radio coverage in both English and Spanish, on the league's Spanish-language website, enebea.com, and through multiple social media pages.

"With Hispanic fans comprising 18 percent of the league's fan base, we have a responsibility to be inclusive and deliver customized experiences that connect with our fans in meaningful ways," said Saskia Sorrosa, NBA Vice President of Multicultural Marketing. "Noches éne-bé-a is a perfect example of the NBA's ongoing commitment to celebrating diversity as part of the fabric of our game."

The freshly-minted Adidas-designed uniforms display the team names as spoken by the Latino public and the Spanish-language media (The Miami Heat, for example, is "El Heat").

The updated Noches éne-bé-a logo and distinctive patterns drawn on the rear of the jerseys and other merchandise has been made available at NBAStore.com, in-arena stores for participating teams, and NBA Store on Fifth Avenue in New York City.
