Taylor Swift Restraining Order: '22' Singer Has Stalker Who Has Issued Death Threats
Taylor Swift has recently obtained a restraining order against a stalker who vowed to kill anyone who came between them.
According to the application submitted to the Los Angles Superior Court, Swift's obsessed fan Timothy Sweet has been harassing the country pop star since 2011. The court documents claimed that the 33-year-old man had allegedly sent the "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer a series of terrifying emails, letters and social media posts.
"If anyone in Taylor Swift's family gets killed, it is not my fault," Sweet reportedly said in one of many messages he had previously issued. "My wife, Taylor Swift (Sweet) and I live in Beverly Hills. I am in love with her. In conclusion, we treat each other with dignity and respect. I will carry a gun to protect her the rest of my life."
Instead of being sweet like his last name, the crazed fan continued to send Swift life-threatening messages, and the most bizarre one would probably be him even threatening the most powerful politician in the nation -- U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry.
"Dearest Taylor, I'll kill any man who gets in the way of our marriage," said Sweet. "Message to John Kerry, Secretary of State. Message from YOUR Presidential Candidate."
The "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" singer was forced to seek protection from the courts, and had no choice but to put a restraining order against the stalker because she was in fear of her own and her family's safety. The case is not over yet, as a further hearing into the case is scheduled to be heard later this month.
