Ashley Benson and Taylor Lautner sparked dating speculations recently after they were seen looking cozy with each other in a photograph with friends. However, this is not the first time both actors were rumored to be dating as they were also spotted out on a dinner date a couple of years ago.

The "Twilight" star appeared nothing but friendly with the "Pretty Little Liars" actress as they pose for a picture. In the photo the actress shared on her Instagram page, Lautner, dressed all in black, has his arm around Benson. Ashley, also dressed all in black under a maroon jacket, is seen sticking her tongue out at the camera.  According to Hollywood Life, the photo was taken on Tuesday while Ashley, Taylor and a group of male friends visited the "Halloween Horror Nights" show at the Universal Studios.

However, this is not the first time that the pair has been rumored to be dating. Back in August 2012, Taylor and Ashley were spotted having dinner at the Red O Mexican Restaurant.

According to the restaurant's manager, the pair looked happy and seemed to be in good spirits when they entered the restaurant. But it wasn't a dinner date since they were joined by their friends. Regardless, it seemed Taylor and Ashley had a good time during dinner since the actor reportedly left a "generous tip."

"Their table was in the back, a bit far from where I could see or any of the maitre d's could see. I don't know what they ordered but I believe they may have had a few glasses of wine. I'm not exactly sure. It was a very small group at their table, about three to five people in total," the manager told Hollywood Life.

The following year, Ashely and Taylor were spotted once again on another date. This time it was just the two of them as they grabbed a late dinner at the Fogo De Chao restaurant in Los Angeles on March 16. According to Hollywood Life, they left separately after dinner.

It's uncertain if Benson and Lautner are just friends. The actress had once referred to the actor as one of her boys on social media.

Ashley shared her photo with Taylor and another male friend a week ago on her Instagram. She captioned the black and white snap, "My boys @runroccorun and T." Benson also added a heart emoji beside "T," which obviously refers to Taylor.
