Universal Pictures wants only what's best for the Barden Bellas and their fans so they decided to move the release date of "Pitch Perfect 3" to Aug. 4, 2017.

According to a report from Stuff, the original date, which was set for July 21, became too crowded that Universal Pictures settled for a much more open and amicable date. The original date has been also taken by an upcoming FOX animation and another movie by the well-known British director Christopher Nolan.

"Pitch Perfect 2" was released in New Zealand two weeks before it was made available in the U.S. This time, however, the much-anticipated comedy movie has no exact date of release yet.

The movie plot for "Pitch Perfect 3" has not yet been finalized, but characters such as Rebel Wilson, Annad Kendrick, Britanny Snow and Hailee Steinfeld were all confirmed to join the next installment of the movie.

Director and franchise producer Elizabeth Banks of "Pitch Perfect 2" said, "We are hard at work on figuring out what the next chapter for the Barden Bellas is going to be. They're gonna sing, they're gonna dance and they're gonna be funny. I don't want to give anything away!"

According to Entertainment Weekly, there's no confirmed director for the third installment of the movie, but the characters are there and ready to take on the next go signal.

"Pitch Perfect 2" made a mark in the blockbuster charts after it hailed a total of $282 million from its opening date and a worldwide influence of $115 million. The movie is set to be the highest grossing musical comedy ever, and that's why the third installment is being carefully planned including its release date. No amount of good movie can really compensate a bad opening day; this is why Universal Pictures decided to move it.

"Pitch Perfect" has been largely based on Mickey Rapkin's "Pitch Perfect: The Quest for Collegiate A Capella Glory."

Anna Kendrick, the main star of the movie, has appeared on several films including "Pitch Perfect," "The Twilight Saga" and "ParaNorman." She has starred alongside George Clooney and Jason Bateman for the movie "Up in the Air."

Rebel Wilson, known as Fat Amy in "Pitch Perfect 2" will also join the sequel playing somewhat the sidekick of Anna Kendrick. "Pitch Perfect" is a musical comedy sequel that promises fun and funny side of the Barden Bellas. Fans may now look forward for its debut in August 2017.
