The cast and crew of USA network prime-time series "Royal Pains" is back in the Hamptons, filming its eighth and final season. The "Royal Pains" team was spotted at Rye Playland in early September.

"Royal Pains," starring Mark Feuerstein, is currently filming on the beach in Hampton Bays. The medical-drama, which focuses on a concierge doctor who services both the rich and underserved in the wealthy coastal area, will use upcoming season to explore love in the Hamptons.

"Royal Pains" co-showrunner and co-creator Andrew Lenchewski along with co-showrunner Michael Rauch 'spilled the beans' during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, sharing what's to be expected during final season of the well-liked series. For instance, Rauch said Hank's love interest will be a big part of the season. After all, Divya has Sashi, and everyone else seems to have love in their lives.

"We'll be having some fun with Jeremiah, Boris has Marisa and Carlos, and ... Hank is the person who has everyone, and yet at the same time, no one in his life is as fulfilling as the partners the other characters have," Rauch said.

Hank's love life will develop as Divya and Jeremiah will struggle with feelings and affection for one another. However, those aren't the only difficulties Divya has to face, particularly after the death of her grandmother, and Raj's proposal.

According to CarterMatt, "Story-wise, almost everything was left up in the air after the finale. Divya and Raj may be getting engaged. Hopefully, we're also going to see more of Jeremiah next year after seeing so little of him this season."

"Royal Pains" Season 8 will appear next summer; however there has been no official premiere date announced.
