Less than a week before Microsoft is expected to unveil its pair of Windows 10 Mobile flagship smartphones, the company's official online U.K. Store has already listed the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL on its "Windows 10 Ready Phones" section.

According to Nokia Power User, the listings did not give away too much of the specs of both handsets, but they did reveal details on major features such as its display, storage, microSD support and camera.

The premature listings confirmed that both the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable internal memory while running on the Windows 10 Mobile operating system. It also confirmed that both the upcoming flagships will feature QHD resolution at 5.2-inch and 5.7-inch displays, respectively.

Quad High Definition, or more popularly referred to as QHD, is a resolution standard for high-end televisions and desktop monitors. The technology is fairly new to mobile devices. Smartphones with QHD only began cropping up in mid-2014.

QHD has four times more pixel power than a 720p HD display. It's even higher up on the display hierarchy than full HD (1920 x 1080), which has 2560 x 1440 resolution, Tech Radar reports.

Ultra High Definition a.k.a. 4K resolution still hovers above QHD, but 4K just recently made its way onto high-end televisions and desktop monitors this year. That being said, chances of the technology being featured on upcoming 2015 mobile devices are slim. As of the moment, QHD is the standard display for top-of-the-line smartphones.

As for the other specs of the upcoming pair of Microsoft flagships, the Lumia 950 XL is said to come with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 processor and a 3,300 mAh battery. Meanwhile, the Lumia 950 will allegedly tow the less powerful Snapdragon 808 chip and a smaller capacity 3,000 mAh battery. Both smartphones will be fitted with a USB Type-C connector and a 20-megapixel PureView main camera with triple-LED flash.

The latest datasheet only listed the duo's pricing as "XXX.XX." However, Spanish retailer eComputer, via Phone Arena, suggested that the dual-SIM version of the Lumia 950 XL will cost €749 or approximately $838 while the Lumia 950 will retail for €659 or $738.

Microsoft is set to introduce the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL during its big Windows 10 event on Oct. 6. Both devices will reportedly share the spotlight with the mid-tier Lumia 550, which will also be released on the same date, as per a previous Latin Post report.
