'Judge Judy' YouTube Video Shows Defendant Incriminate Himself in 12 Seconds [Watch]
Judge Judy Sheindlin has maintained her reputation of being a no-nonsense judge on her hit reality TV show "Judge Judy" for nearly two decades.
Since the show first aired in 1996, Judge Judy has captivated viewers with her quick wit, frank tone and incomparable skills in sniffing out the baloney in any case. The perfect example of the TV judge's charm can be seen in a video from a 2010 episode where she decided a case in less than 26 seconds, reports Entertainment Weekly.
In the clip, which has gone viral after receiving over 6 million views on YouTube, the sharp tempered judge decided in favor of the plaintiff after one of the two defendants incriminated himself.
The video begins with an 18-year-old high school student telling the judge that her wallet had been stolen, along with $50, gift cards, an "earpiece," and a few other items that were inside of it. However, one of the defendants interrupts her to tell the judge, "There was no earpiece there, ma'am."
In response, the 72-year-old judge seems to be delighted by his incriminating statement, which he made in just 12 seconds from the start of the case.
"I love it. I love it," she replied before calling the young defendants "dumb and dumber."
Without further ado, Judge Judy ruled in favor of the plaintiff, granting her $500.
According to Entertainment Tonight, in addition to being on the air for 20 seasons, "Judge Judy" has a set a Guinness World Record as the longest-running TV judge.
