In celebration of the release of the GTA 5 Online Business Update last Tuesday, March 4, Rockstar Games will be holding a Business Weekend Social Club Online Event this coming weekend. Cinemablend reports the purpose of the event is to invite gamers to play GTA 5 Online and test the new DLC by providing them with various incentives.

The game developer wrote on their Newswire site, "Get yourself a sharp suit, a fast car and a pair of shoes made from the skin of a cobra: it's time for some capitalism punishment in the Business Weekend Social Club Online Event, this Friday March 7th through Sunday March 9th."

Some of the in-game bonuses include 50% Reputation Points in all Land Races and 50% higher payouts in all Air Races. Also, the game's auto dealer Simeon Yetarian is on the lookout for a luxury four-door sedan, particularly the Ocelot Jackal. Once players receive a text message from him, they must secure the car and bring it to the docks to claim their reward.

Players should also watch the skies during the event as crates filled with various kinds of weapons such as Miniguns, bombs, RPG's, and up to 8,000 RPs will be dropped regularly at the Downtown Los Santos Financial District and near the airfields of Los Santos and Blaine County.

Rockstar will also be holding a contest for the best snapshots for its Snapmatic Event. For the contest, players must post pictures featuring the new items and tag it with #BUSINESS. The developer will choose five winners who will be awarded with $1 million GTA$ and an exclusive in-game vanity license plate.

The weekend event will be kicked off with a live streaming hosted by Rockstar personalities and other guests and will feature playthroughs of the new "Business Update". It will be broadcasted on Friday, from 4 to 6 pm through the Social Club Multiplayer Events Page.
