This season's releases for the Nintendo consoles are uniquely top-notch. While the number is not flashy, the quality of the games is sure to satisfy fans of Nintendo Wii U and 3DS. Iconic favorites and exciting new installations are set to make their way to the market, according to a report from Game Zone.

"Chibi-Robo!: Zip Lash" is an upcoming game for Nintendo 3DS that's part of the charming "Chibi-Robo" series, which has been in the Nintendo family for a decade. The adventure game follows a cute little robot exploring different destinations. "Chibi-Robo!: Zip Lash" will be out on Oct. 9.

Nintendo producer Kensuke Tanabe told The Verge that this new "Chibi-Robo" game might be the last of the series saying, "I've continually thought about ways to build this into a mainstream success. We've challenged ourselves in assorted ways along those lines, but I can't say that we've found the answer yet."

 "Yoshi's Woolly World" is another Nintendo game for Wii U that's adorable and kid-friendly with characters made of yarn. The vivid, imaginative world is a visual wonderland that can be enjoyed by adults and kids alike. It's already out in Europe since June, but will make its way to North America on Oct. 16.

"Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden" for Nintendo 3DS breaks the "cutesy" trend of the previous two Nintendo games. The upcoming fighting game for the 3DS featuring over 100 characters both playable and support. According to a report from Hardcore Gamer, Bandai Namco is letting players fight using hashtags in tweets. The new "Dragon Ball Z" is slated for release on Oct. 20.

"Guitar Hero Live" for Wii U is another popular franchise making its debut on Oct. 20 as well. This new installment of the beloved music-centric game will feature a new controller, plus a new style of gameplay and first-person perspective, according to a report from Vibe. Rock will be the primary genre tackled by the game and over a hundred artists are available for budding musicians sitting down for "Guitar Hero Live."

"We basically wanted to make you feel like you are the rock star," said markup expert, guitarist and "Guitar Hero" prodigy Aaron Grimes.

Nintendo gets its horror fix with "Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water" for Wii U. Enjoy the use of the Wii U gamepad as the Camera Obscura, which is the defense against the ghouls floating around. Players will need to snap photos of the antagonists using the camera to defeat them. According to another report from Hardcore Gamer, there will be three playable protagonists in numerous eerie settings. The "Fatal Frame" installment will be out on Oct. 22.

The day after "Fatal Frame" comes out, "The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes" for 3DS will be released on the market. The fantasy, action adventure game is one of the most popular games of Nintendo so Oct. 23 is a date many fans have marked in their calendars.
