Xur is back selling exotic weapons and upgrades this weekend. Unfortunately, Xur's inventory this week is rather disappointing, since there is no exotic weapon, just armor and engrams.

Xur will be located in the northern part of the Tower to right of the speaker. He will remain there until Sunday at 5 a.m. ET and will not return until next Friday.

Xur is selling the Immolation Fists Titan Gauntlets for 13 Strange Coins. These gauntlets provide a 32 intellect rating, a 27 strength rating and a 28 light rating. When equipped, the Immolation Fists increase melee attack speed. Players will also gain bonus melee energy with grenade hits. Finally, reload speed on several weapons will be increased when using the gauntlets.

The Celestial Nighthawk Hunter Helmet can be purchased from Xur for 13 Strange Coins. This helmet provides stats of 31/84 for intellect, 31/53 for discipline and 31/53 for strength. It also has a 28 rating for light. When using the helmet and firing the Golden Gun, one shot will deliver six times the damage and unlock Keyhole for maximum penetration. When killing enemies with grenades, bonus Super energy will be gained. Finally, each time an Orb of Light is picked up, health will be replenished.

The Three of Coins consumable can be purchased from Xur for 7 Strange Coins and comes in quantities of 5. With this consumable, players increase their chance of receiving an Exotic Engram when they defeat an Ultra enemy.

The Void Drive vehicle upgrade can be purchased from Xur for 23 Strange Coins. The vehicle upgrade permanently enhances an equipped Rare Sparrow to improve vehicle speed and durability.

The best way to earn Strange Coins is by completing daily stories, the nightfall and other activities in Destiny. Performing well with online teammates will also reward players with Strange Coins. The more time spent playing Destiny, the more Strange Coins players will earn to spend on Xur's items. Even though Xur's inventory is not that exciting this week, these items can still help players on their Destiny quests.
