On "The Player" Season 1, Episode 3 "LA Takedown," security expert Alex Kane (Philip Winchester) asks a friend to further investigate his ex-wife Ginny's murder, but pit boss Mr. Johnson (Wesley Snipes) intervenes.

Kane and Cassandra King (Charity Wakefield) travel to Los Angeles to stop the Southwest Sniper from enacting revenge for a drug cartel.

Det. Cal Brown (Damon Gupton) helps the FBI locate a missing ex-special operations agent in Las Vegas.

In the trailer for "LA Takedown," Mr. Johnson tells Kane, "The House is in Vegas, but crime is everywhere."

A sniper working for a drug cartel has been targeting motorists on Los Angeles roadways. Kane and King drive to Hollywood will the intention of stopping the sniper.

"Can Alex stop this cartel assassin before kills again?" King is shown asking the wealthy gamblers.

Kane begins his investigation into the sniper, and soon realizes that he is caught in the middle of a drug war.

"I think I found his next target," Kane says to King as he browses through what appears to be a photo album.

In the next scene, Kane runs through a fence gate at a suburban home with pistol drawn.

"Get back inside!" he yells to a man coming out the front door.

In the next scene, Kane is driving a Jeep through desert terrain, fleeing the drug cartel in hot pursuit.

"I don't think I can get out of this alive!" he shouts.

A missile from a rocket launcher explodes in front of his Jeep.

"The one person watching his back... the one person he shouldn't trust," the narrator says.

King is shown saying, "The odds are not in your favor" before the final scene where she's holding a rifle with Kane in the line of fire.
