WWE Raw Spoilers, Preview for Oct. 5, 2015: Brock Lesnar Confirmed at John Cena's Hometown
"WWE Monday Night Raw" is live from John Cena territory tonight. Fans may also expect "Suplex City: Boston" shirts as Brock Lesnar is confirmed for Monday's show.
Ahead of "Hell in a Cell" later this month, Lesnar returns to "Raw" to hopefully start promoting his match against The Undertaker, which will occur in the Hell in a Cell structure. While his match has been confirmed for at least the last two weeks, neither individual has appeared on main WWE programming since "Night of Champions," and not including the "Live From MSG" special.
For Cena, it's not clear what will be his next challenge since Seth Rollins' main feud is with Kane. If the WWE stays with last week's development, then Cena may have another encounter with WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day. The tag champions are engulfed in a feud with the Dudley Boyz, and there should soon be confirmation for a tables match.
The divas have a multifaceted development. Paige, despite ridiculing Becky Lynch and WWE Divas Champion Charlotte, still team with them on a couple matches. Natalya is now involved in the storyline, but Team Bella is still aiming to reclaim the Divas Championship. Hopefully tonight, there will be improved structure to the divas scene.
Meanwhile, former Intercontinental Champion Ryback is still gunning for his rematch against current champion Kevin Owens. Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt continue their feud ahead what may be their final match at "Hell in a Cell."
Finally, "NXT TakeOver: Respect" is this Wednesday on the WWE Network. Although Sasha Banks is on the main roster, she is scheduled to main event Wednesday's event against NXT Women's Champion Bayley in a 30-minute Iron Man match. If WWE is on point, Banks should have a match and a victory on "Raw" tonight to further promote Wednesday's show.
"Monday Night Raw" airs weekly at 8 p.m. EDT on the USA Network.
