'Real Housewives of New Jersey,' Teresa Giudice News Update: Reality Star Looking For Allies Among Seven 7 Cast Members
Filming for the new season of the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" is set to commence in November, and series creators are rumored to be on the prowl for Teresa Giudice allies to serve as cast members.
Radar Online reports Season 7 is already shaping up to be a drama-filled one with bad blood between Guidice and Kathy Wakile already ready to boil over.
"Teresa absolutely refuses to film with Kathy," a source said. "She hates Kathy. After Kathy called her father a coward and her mother a liar, she never forgave her for that."
Giudice already signed and delivered to formally rejoin the cast once she is released from the Danbury Correctional facility where she is serving out the remainder of her 15 month sentence on fraud charges. And word is producers are feverishly "trying to cast someone still to be Teresa's friend on the show."
As her desperation has grown, reports are Giudice has even had her attorney work at trying to form an alliance for her with one-time archenemy Jacqueline Laurita.
"Jacqueline agreed to make up for this new season and play nice," a source said, adding as Laurita haggles with Bravo execs over a new contract she is convinced the new development could serve as leverage for her.
Meanwhile, sources indicate Giudice is looking to completely transform her image and character this season.
"Teresa wants to be completely different this season and be viewed as nice and kind on the show," a source said. "She doesn't want to be viewed as evil Teresa."
Later this month, the family, including Teresa from behind bars, is also slated to be featured in a spinoff reality show chronicling husband Joe's efforts to hold his family together while his wife is away incarcerated.
Once Teresa is released, Joe is slated to begin serving out the terms of his 41-month sentence on similar charges. Joe has also vowed to fight any subsequent efforts to deport him back to his native Italy.
