"Fallout 4" is all about preparing for the future and now fans can begin setting up their consoles and PCs for the arrival of the much-awaited survival game.

Meanwhile, players on the PC should be on Windows 7, 8 or 10 to avail of "Fallout 4." At least 8 GB of RAM and 30 GB of free HDD space are required.

Minimum specs include Intel Core i5-2300 2.8 GHz/AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz or equivalent, and the NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or equivalent.

Another update that "Fallout" fans can look forward to is the arrival of the all-new "Fallout 4 Pip-Boy App."

"The 'Fallout 4 Pip-Boy App' is usable in tandem with Fallout 4 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC," Bethesda explained in the official release. "The App is supported on iOS, Android, and Windows Phone devices."

While the app will be available across different models, only a limited number of devices will be able to fit inside the wearable that's included in the "Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition." According to the website, the foam inserts for the wearables will be able to fit the iPhone 6/6s, iPhone 5/5s, iPhone 4/4S, Samsung Galaxy S5, Samsung Galaxy S4 and Samsung Galaxy S3, plus similarly sized devices. Larger smartphones will not be able to squeeze inside the bonus wearable.

Another update from Bethesda also highlighted the game's customizable features.

"Early next year we'll release for free the new Creation Kit for the PC," the developer promised in an official statement. "This is the same tool we use in the studio. You'll be able to create your own mods and share them with others."

Aside from the customization kit, there will be plenty of DLC to look forward to for "Fallout 4," including a Season Pass for all the upcoming releases. According to the website, the content will begin getting launched to the public early in 2016.

"Fallout 4" for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC will be launched on Nov. 10. The "Fallout 4 Pip-Boy App" will also mark its release on the same date.
