"Halo 5: Guardians" is almost out. To prepare the fans for one of the biggest releases of the season, 343 Industries is getting more candid than ever and offering more details on the game including new gameplay modes, microtransactions and more.

The new installment of the "Halo" series will be offering a brand new mode called Warzone. According to Games Radar, 343 Industries executives recently spoke to the Official Xbox Magazine to reveal more about the ambitious multi-player mode.

"Warzone was a lot more challenging than we thought," 343 Industries co-founder Bonnie Ross admitted. "And there were points where it did not feel like it was coming together. It was a huge bet for us. I think it was pretty nerve-wracking at some points, but there was a moment several months ago where people started getting good scores back from user research."

"Someone said 'Look, it's going to be really crappy until we get this system working, and then we need this netcode to be supporting that, blah blah blah...,'" franchise development director Frank O'Connor explained. "Somebody in the production office had kinda drawn a line, saying: 'This is roughly where it will start to be fun.' If you do really good planning and production - and I think we pride ourselves on that - there shouldn't be too many crazy surprises."

He added, "But it does get nerve-wracking when you're waiting for that breakthrough to happen, whether it be something as big as a mode or just specific weapon."

Meanwhile, fans who want an edge in "Halo 5: Guardians" don't have to rely completely on gameplay to get them through the missions. An official blog post shared more about the new Requisition (REQ) System, which means that players can earn rewards by jumping in the multi-player game.

There are three REQ packs available in the game: Bronze Pack with Common REQs, Silver Pack with Common to Rare REQs and Gold Pack with Uncommon to Legendary REQs. This can be bought with in-game currency starting at 1,250RP for Bronze Packs to 10,000RP for Gold Packs. Those who want an extra boost can also purchase the Silver and Gold Packs for $1.99 and $2.99 respectively.

According to the developer, players will be able to afford at least one Pack every other game played with an average of 2,000RP in earnings for every Warzone game.

The players who have the Warzone REQ Bundle included in the Limited Edition, Limited Collector's Edition and "Halo 5: Guardians" Limited Edition Console Bundle will get two Premium Packs every week for seven weeks. This bundle may also be bought separately for $24.99.

"Halo 5: Guardians" for Xbox One will be officially released on Oct. 27.
