Nolan North, Nathan Drake's voice actor in "Uncharted" honestly revealed that the beloved video game is not a movie material.

In a video interview featured on Game News Official, North said, "From what I heard from fans is that they don't want an 'Uncharted' movie, no matter who's the star of it. Maybe it's because it's such cinematic experience in itself. I don't know if it's financially feasible for the studios to make this film anymore."

North also cited how the "Hitman" movie did not do quite well in the box office despite the "Resident Evil" doing fine in a different genre.

During the interview, North also said that maybe, one of the reasons fans aren't comfortable seeing Nathan Drake in a movie is the fact that they are apprehensive on who will play his role.

He said, "It would be very difficult for them to accept somebody else, even me with my face as Nathan Drake."

Screen Rant also shared their views about "Uncharted" being adapted into the big screen. According to the news outlet, because of the fast-paced nature of the game, controlling the main character is much more exciting than just sitting and watching the whole story unveil. The report also cited one of the most intricate parts of adapting a video game to films as well as choosing the actor that will play the part.

Fans are not easily derailed by any new adaptation, especially if it's their favorite game. But with the right trailer, they may be persuade watching the movie version and even enjoying it.

Whether "Uncharted" is destined to be recreated in a movie or not, North already shared his thoughts about it. At the moment, according to VG247, the "Uncharted" movie has been under development for almost seven years already, and with passing directors, writers and talents not being installed regularly, the possibility of an "Uncharted" movie coming on the big screen is far and impossible.

The "Uncharted" series is currently being enjoyed by players after "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" was released. It also gave them access to previous episodes of the game such as "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune," "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves" and "Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception."

Meanwhile, the last installment for the "Uncharted" series, "A Thief's End," is set to be made available on PlayStation 4 by March of 2016.
