A patch to address issues and bugs found in NBA 2K16 has been released for the PC version of the game, with fixes coming soon for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The patch for the PC fixes display issues for 21:9 monitors, multiple monitor display issues and a play-calling bug. Additionally, computers with older versions of DirexX will no longer crash during gameplay of NBA 2K16.

According to the Steam webpage, users have also reported an issue with "commentary dropping out during gameplay," which developer 2K Sports plans to fix in the next patch.

Meanwhile, players on the console versions have reported many other problems.

For some console users, the Pro-Am mode has not worked at all. Hopefully, the Pro-Am bug will be addressed with the coming console patch so that those players can start enjoying this popular game mode.

Console players are also reporting in 2K Forums that they have not received the special 30,000 Virtual Currency that they were supposed to receive for pre-ordering the Special Edition of NBA 2K16 -- which features Michael Jordan on the cover.

Players have also said that, after they go through the My Career mode a couple of times, they are unable to bypass the Spike Lee cut scenes to go into league play, Gotta Be Mobile reports. Some Xbox One players also reported on the forums that they are kicked back to the home screen regularly when their games crash.

2K says that fixes are coming soon, while NBA 2K16's unofficial social media representative Ronnie2K says it could take 10 to 14 days to test a patch before it is released.
