An ordinary mother-and-daughter bonding of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star Kourtney Kardashian and her little princess, Penelope Disick, turned into a horrible day as the 3-year-old tot was accidentally slammed by a car door. How awful!

According to Mirror UK, the 35-year-old hot mom is strolling around Malibu for some errands as she donned a casual black top and denim shorts together with her blonde toddler who looked super adorable in her little blue top and denim shorts. The tot even carried around a small strolling bag adding up to her cute ensemble.

But while the two were gallivanting around, in just a split second, Kourtney was unaware that her only daughter with troubled baby daddy Scott Disick was hit by the car door badly. Looking through the snaps, it seems that baby mama just looked away for a while when her daughter immediately toppled down the ground.

The little tot was even captured to look badly hurt as she reached out to her mom for some help while crying. Poor Penelope!

From the looks of it, even though Penelope was badly hurt, good thing is that she was not seen to be having some bruises all over her face.

"Kourtney had her checked out by their home doctor right after this happened to make sure that nothing was broken," a source told Radar Online. Thankfully, the source added that Penelope is fine although the accident has put the poor kid in a state of shock.

"Kourtney is usually so careful about keeping Penelope out of harm's way. She is such a precious little girl and Kourtney is absolutely mortified that this even happened," the source added.

The family has been going through a lot lately after Scott and Kourtney split during the 4th of July weekend. With the Kardashian-Disick family trembling down, it's hard to see how the children becomes affected. According to a Hollywood Life report, first-born Mason even begs to shave his head just to look like his "new daddy" Kanye West.

"The fact that Mason's never told Kourt how he wanted to be like Scott speaks volumes," the source told Hollywood Life. "She took Mason to get his hair cut last week but she couldn't bring herself to shave off all his hair. Mason threw a tantrum because he wanted all his hair shaved, not just one side. He wants Kanye's style and is still begging his mother to take him to a barber and not a salon."

Too bad that the kids have to undergo the painful situation as well. With Scott Disick being an MIA dad, Kourtney has to step up for herself and more so for her three kids, Mason, Penelope and Reign.
