'Rock Band 4' New Songs, First Ever DLC Announced
"Rock Band 4" is getting a new DLC, and along with it is a new set of songs for the series.
According to Attack of the Fan Boy, "Rock Band 4" has encountered some glitches in its past versions, but that didn't stop the game from pushing through a new DLC that will also feature the game's latest song additions.
The new DLC will consist of four new songs that can be downloaded after they are added to PSN and Xbox Live. Amazon has already offered some pre-ordering of the four songs in the DLC as all of them are brand new.
The songs included in the DLC version of "Rock Band 4" are "Follow Me Down" by the Pretty Reckless, "Failure" by Breaking Benjamin, "Don't Wanna Fight" by Alabama Shakes and "Trainwreck 1979" by Death from Above 1979.
While the new songs add some interesting feature on the new DLC, some gamers still find it annoying that a fresh selection is now being offered after they have just gotten around their current content.
According to GameSpot, "Rock Band 4" is also getting a new Pro-Cymbals Expansion kit, which will challenge the players' drum skills. The Pro-Cymbals, however, can only be connected to the new "Rock Band 4" kit as this is the only thing it's compatible with.
The Pro-Cymbals is now available for pre-order at the MadCatz Store for $49.99. The kit is designed to be responsive on hard and soft strikes, simple clamps for quick steps, adjustable height according to your preference and has also sound-absorbing quality to minimize noise.
Its 10-degree strike angle will simulate true stage conditions. The whole set is composed of a crash cymbal, hi-hat cymbal, ride cymbal, three color-coded wing nuts, three mounting poles and three mounting clamps.
A quick and easy process on how to assemble the set has also been made possible by the color-coding feature, so you don't need to worry about how to set up the product.
The Pro-Cymbals is only an add-on to what's already included in the game. If you wish to play like a professional, the Pro-Cymbals is an additional kit that you can actually include in your game.
Under the "Rock Band" series, "Rock Band 4" was initially released last Oct. 6, but the Pro-Cymbals and brand new songs are still on pre-order stage.
