HBO has released the trailer for the new documentary "The Latin Explosion: A New America," which investigates the impact of Latinos in the U.S. and features some of the biggest names in Latino music, television and film.

In the trailer for the documentary, several stars discuss what it means to be a Latino in the United States and the obstacles they had to overcome. The film will look at the rise of Latino entertainers, while depicting the major events in history that shaped the lives of Latinos today.

Gloria Estefan can be heard in the trailer discussing how she was told to change her last name because it was too complicated to pronounce. Meanwhile, Sofia Vergara teases that America needs to get used to Latinos because "we are everywhere."

The documentary will feature interviews from Gloria and Emilio Estefan, Cheech Marin, Rita Moreno, José Feliciano, Eva Longoria, Vergara, George Lopez, Marc Anthony, Ricky Martin, Shakira, Pitbull, Romeo Santos, Jennifer Lopez, Los Lobos and Thalía. The film is narrated by actor John Leguizamo.

Music producer Tommy Mottola, who helped launch the careers of Anthony, Shakira, Mariah Carey, Martin and Lopez, served as the film's producer.

"We have assembled the largest array of Latino superstars ever in a film telling a powerful story of their history and immigration, politics, and rise from a small minority population to the most critical demographic in the United States," Mottola said in a statement, Rolling Stone reported.

"Latinos spend $1.3 trillion a year, making them one of the most powerful groups of consumers today," he added, which makes them one of the biggest consumer demographics in the United States. Mottola also explained that Latinos will have a huge impact on the 2016 presidential election, just as they did in the 2012 election.

"There is no doubt in my mind that by 2025 we will have a Latino president," Mottola said.

"The Latin Explosion: A New America" will air Nov. 16 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO and HBO Latino. ​Check out the trailer for the HBO documentary below.
