Shots are fired to Emmy award-winning comedienne Ellen DeGeneres after a racist parody of Nicki Minaj's upcoming ABC Family series was aired in The Ellen DeGeneres Show featuring Minaj's and her family's exaggerated derriere.

According to Hollywood Life, while the skit seemed to be harmless and made without any intent of offending Minaj nor anyone, many cried out foul over the skit because it indicated body-shaming and racist as it labels black people as to what was shown on the skit.

In a snippet of the recent episode, DeGeneres said that the satirical skit was something that can "boost [the audiences'] mood" and it featured the Minaj family home; in it was the matriarch and Nicki herself. The spoof featured young Nicki to be having an adult-sized behind and there was even one point that the young Nicki bended over to get something, emphasizing more on her well-rounded booty.

It turns out that it was not only Nicki who have been bestowed with big booty. It was also revealed in the stint that Minaj matriarch also had a big pair of it as they smashed down things that their booties encounter. Nicki's dad was not spared as well. The skit ended with the three struggling to share a space in the couch because their butts just won't fit in it altogether.

While those at Ellen thought that the minute-long skit was humorous, MorningAfter said that it was not funny at all.

"It was a joke, see, except...what exactly was the joke? That Nicki Minaj has a big butt? (OK, fine, but that's just the truth, not really...a joke?) That black people have big butts? That black dogs have big butts? That black women's bodies are absurd?" the website read.

Moreover, the website said that the show reduced Minaj "to just an ass" despite her being a person that offers so much more than a big booty.

"She's given us plenty of quirks, plenty of attitude, plenty of facial ticks, plenty of wigs. This skit is at least lazy, at least casually racist. How did this make it on the air?" the website added.

To date, Minaj has not released a statement regarding the spoof that poked fun of her and her family.

According to Variety, Minaj was thrilled when ABC Family offered a series commitment to the Grammy nominee.

"This is one of the more unique adventures I've ever embarked on," Minaj told Variety. "I couldn't be more proud and excited to team up with an amazing group of people to give the world something really special."
