In the upcoming episode of the new hit ABC show “Quantico,” Alex (Priyanka Chopra) will come to understand, if she did not already know, that no one she knows is who they seem.

Episode 4, titled “Kill,” flashes back to show Alex performing a hostage rescue training exercise that will deeply disturb her sense of self. The episode then flashes forward to show her hunting for clues, which will lead her to question the motivations of one of her closest classmates.

A teaser for the upcoming episode shows Alex pointing a gun at some unlucky friend and saying, ”You lied to me all this time!”

"Quantico" has become a genuine fall TV phenomena. TV Line reports that the show has already been given a full-season pickup for next year, and that the last episode, “Cover,” brought in 5.7 million viewers.

The FBI-based thriller has also become part of everyday conversation. As USA Today reports, a marketing study put out by the Keller Fay Group reveals that “Quantico” is the No. 1 word-of-mouth show in the country right now.

At 33, Chopra is at a time in her life when she can definitely appreciate her success. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the Indian actress and model discussed her naivete before becoming famous.

“When I won Miss World, I wasn’t even 18, and I only remember, like, I thought of it as a day in the races or something,” she said, “It didn’t feel like it was Miss World of the Millennium Year, the change of the century. I didn’t understand the magnitude of it for at least a couple of years.”

With that early fame came a lot of attention. The actress recalls talking to the world press about the economy of Zimbabwe and thinking, “What am I talking about?”

“Quantico” airs Sunday nights on ABC.
