Fallout Shelter' Update: Patch 1.2 Brings Fallout 4 Character 'Piper' & More Improvements, See Details Here
Bethesda is trying to balance everything, including those who have faithfully played on the "Fallout Shelter," a free-to-play mobile game.
According to Gamezone, patch 1.2 for the "Fallout Shelter" has already been released with various and extended features that will fix some bugs in the said game. The new patch will include some rewards and challenges. The App Store for iOS will also feature the new character Piper from the upcoming "Fallout 4." The new character will be exclusive on the App Store so make sure to check it. Piper comes with five free lunchboxes, something that gives a little more extra for the iOS exclusive.
The new patch also allows players to loot for conquered enemies. Bethesda tags the Survival Mode of the game, "Introducing Survival Mode! More Danger, More Glory. Make Vault - Tech proud!"
According to Polygon, the addition of Piper to the game is not the only thing that is worth looking for. The "Cloud Save" will likely entice fans more as they can now save their Vault upload to the Cloud and access it from any mobile device. The feature has allowed "Fallout Shelter" gamers to access their game more frequently and easier. It may be a simple process, but the conveniences it brings highlights how and when players can access their free-play game.
For the players who have demonstrated their expertise on the game, the "Survival Mode" will challenge their abilities. In this new feature, players can skip the tutorial mode and head on to the main game once started. Bethesda also revealed the presence of a mysterious character, wherein players are challenged to find it to gain bottle cap rewards.
The "Fallout Shelter" was announced as early as June during the 2015 E3 event, and has since been available on the App Store after it was launched.
It also took two months for Android users to finally download the game when it was made available in August. With over one billion game sessions played after it was launched on Android, it garnered a staggering 29 million hours of playtime for the mobile-based game.
Check out the upcoming release of "Fallout 4" set on Nov. 10 on Windows PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
