Several Latina actresses used their Instagram accounts to show support for a variety of special causes this week, including standing up against bullying, breast cancer awareness and ending gun violence.

Ana Brenda Contreras showed her support for Spirit Day on Thursday, which calls for an end to bullying against LGBT youth. The "Lo imperdonable" star posted a photo of herself with a purple filter and expressed her support.

"With a lot of pride I participate in #SpiritDay. I wear purple because I am against bullying and I support the LGBT youth. Today the 15 of October I want to tell you not to be shy, to be who you are, that nobody holds you back and that you fly high high!! Never let anyone treat you badly," Contreras captioned the photo.

Actress Carmen Villalobos showed her support for Spirit Day by posting a picture of herself wearing a purple dress.

"Today I am part of #SpiritDay! Today I wear purple to show my support and solidarity for the entire gay community and I reject any type of bullying and harassment that they receive day after day. Happy day for everyone," she captioned the photo.

Actress Zoe Saldana and singer Chiquis Rivera both posted images on their Instagram accounts of banners telling their followers to take a stand against bullying.

"Be true to yourself and #ChooseKindness #SpiritDay #gopurple," Saldana wrote on her post. Rivera captioned her image with purple hearts and the hashtag #SayNoToBullying.
