Previously, Latin Post featured the LG V10, detailing its specs and release date. However, details about the LG V10 phone's charging capabilities was not mentioned. This time, news about the phone's charging options were revealed by NeuroGadget.

It's now official; the LG V10 will feature wireless charging despite denying integrating it when the device was first rumored online. Although images of the said LG V10 with the wireless charging feature hasn't surfaced online, consumers can expect a model that has a rear cover, which is said to protect the wireless charging slot.

The LG V10, which carries a 5.7-inch screen, a 16 megapixel primary camera and a 4 GB Random Access Memory, will sport the wireless charging feature upon its launch.

This new announcement is the only thing that has been revised within the phablet as its other specs remain the same. Its internal storage of 64 GB is expandable up to 128 GB using a micro-SD card whereas the processor will still be Qualcomm's SnapDragon 808.

The LG V10 is also equipped with a fast-charging feature that allows enough juice in just two minutes. Still, that feature remains to be seen once the wireless charging is eventually incorporated into the device.

Meanwhile, XDA Developers compared the LG V10 from other LG devices. Despite having enough similarities from its predecessor, it also features something worth noting. The back panel of the LG V10 that has a fingerprint sensor sets it apart from other LG phones. The bigger display is a plus size, but the real deal of the LG V10 is its second screen at the top that enviably brings supremacy over other smartphones. The second screen promotes multitasking as well as an easier access to notifications.

The expandable memory is another plus, something that is innovatively integrated to current smartphones nowadays along with the improvement of video and camera specs.

The battery of the LG V10, which is 3,000 mAH, has also been compared to previous LG batteries, the G2-V10. The 3,000 mAH is good enough, but the G2-V10 also has a history of taking up longer battery life, something that LG should have maintained.

Despite the seemingly practical features of the phone, there are still options that should have stayed to keep it even more practical such as a removable battery. A removable battery enables consumers to swap to another one when the battery dies.

The LG V10 device is expected to launch this October.
