Psyonix Studios is proving to be as swift as the vehicles featured in its smash hit video game. Less than a week after releasing "Rocket League" update 1.06, the California game developer is now seeding update 1.07 for PS4 and PC.

The studio was also kind enough to share the full set of patch notes on the game's official web page. Notable changes include the following:
THE HEADLINES
- Adjusted Rank Point Calculations
- Ball indicator now properly appears in Beckwith Park (Stormy)
- Improved Ranked post-game UI stability when attempting to chat
CHANGES AND UPDATES
Online
- When a player's Rank Points (RP) are well below average for their hidden matchmaking rating (MMR), bonus RP will be awarded for wins to better "trend" players towards their expected rank.
UI/ UX
- Improved UI functionality in post-game Ranked matches when receiving unlocks or attempting to chat
BUG FIXES
Arenas
- Fixed an issue where the ball indicator would not appear in Beckwith Park (Stormy) when Render Detail was set below High Quality
Updating to the latest version of the game is highly recommended as Psyonix is offering free Halloween-themed items, as per the PlayStation blog site.
By simply playing and completing matches like they normally would, gamers can expect the following post-match items from Oct. 18 to Nov. 2:
- "Calavera" Antenna
- "Candy Corn" Rocket Trail
- "Carriage" Wheels
- "Fuzzy Brute" Antenna
- "Fuzzy Vampire" Antenna
- "Pumpkin" Topper
If gamers wouldn't get the items they want during the limited-time offer, they would have to wait until next year for a chance of earning them again.
Psyonix is also scheduled to release a Back to the Future DLC on Oct. 21, the same day Marty McFly traveled to the future in "Back to the Future Part 2." The pack includes the Delorean Time Machine complete with a Burnt Rubber Rocket Trail.
Psyonix vice president for marketing Jeremy Dunham posted about it on the official PlayStation blog site. He said that the company is delighted that Rocket League will feature the iconic vehicle.
"Truth be told, we used to fantasize and joke about having the DeLorean Time Machine in our game months before it even came out. We were all such huge 'Back to the Future' fans here at Psyonix, that it was one of the few 'Holy Grails' we had hoped for besides having a hit game. The fact that we're getting both of those 'best-case scenarios' in the same year is an amazing accomplishment for us, they're things we'll never forget!" Dunham said.
