Ben Affleck's Batman may not be Bruce Wayne at all in the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

According to one fan at Total Spoiler, the Batman in the new "Batman v Superman" may not be the Batman fans expect.

The theory follows through with the notion that Christopher Nolan's "Batman" universe and the new series are one and the same. The new Joker would in fact be John Blake (played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt) from "The Dark Knight Rises." The writer notes that the first two letters of "John" and last two of "Blake" spell "joke," thus hinting that Robin is The Joker. This theory is substantiated with the image of the Joker's writing on the Robin costume in Batman's lair as seen in the "Batman v Superman" trailers.

The article also notes that Christian Bale could make a surprise appearance in the film, especially since Batman toys with the actor's face were released as part of the promotion for the new movie.

As for Affleck's Batman, the theory anticipates he is in fact "DeathStroke," another version of Batman. To support the theory, the writer notes that the line "Do You Bleed? You Will" is an echo of a line from the same character in a video game: "I will make you bleed."

Jena Malone could be playing Rose Wilson, the daughter of Deathstroke alter-ego Slade Wilson, thus making the new movie an adaptation of comic "New 52."

Finally the article makes note that the "v" in "Batman v Superman" is a symbol indicating the film as the fifth in the current canon. The three Nolan "Batman" films would be one through three, followed by "Man of Steel" as the fourth film in the saga.

Finally, the writer notes that the name "Bruce Wayne" is never used to reference Affleck's character.

All will be answered on March 25, 2016 when the film finally hits theaters. Do you believe the theory?
