ZTE USA, the country's fourth largest supplier of no-contract smartphones, recently expanded its line of Axon devices with two more Axon variants.

According to Bussiness Wire, the ZTE Axon and the 64GB Axon Pro maintains the screen size and physical dimensions of the 32 GB Axon Pro, which was released earlier this year. However, both new devices boast of different internal specs based on consumer feedback.

The Axon's design is a mix between the HTC One M8 and OnePlus One. It has a full metal build, a dual camera setup on the back and stereo speakers on the front. It measures 154 mm long, 75 mm wide and 9.3 mm thick while sporting a 5.5-inch 1080 x 1920 touchscreen display.

The new Axon Pro is a clone of ZTE's flagship smartphone from August 2015. Hence, it has an Aluminum body accented with plastic, a 5.5-inch 1440 x 2560 QHD display and two rear-facing cameras.

The two new Axons will feature Corning's cutting-edge antimicrobial glass technology which was fitted on the older Axon Pro.

The ZTE Axon Pro was the first phone to make use of Corning's brand-new antimicrobial glass. Fusing the tough Gorilla Glass with an Ionic Silver Layer, Corning promises that the phone will automatically get rid of nasty bacteria for the whole lifetime of the device, as per MarketWatch.

Internally, the Axon is equipped with Qualcomm's 32-bit Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of non-expendable storage space.

Meanwhile, the new Axon Pro is powered by Qualcomm's 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor clocked at 2 GHz. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory but still doesn't have support for microSD expansion.

Both devices have two rear-facing cameras. The primary 13-megapixel unit is paired with a two-megapixel "assistant" camera, which improves its depth of field. On the front, there's an eight-megapixel wide-angle camera that is perfect for those high-quality group selfies.

The pair of new ZTE smartphones will run on Android 5.1.1 and will come in three color variants namely Phthalo Blue, Ion Gold and Chromium Silver.

The Axon costs $330 while the 64GB Axon Pro is priced at $450. Furthermore, the older 32GB Axon Pro has received a price cut and now retails for only $450.

All three ZTE Axons are now available through ZTE USA's online store or via e-commerce sites such as Amazon, eBay and Newegg.

If purchases go wry, ZTE USA has users covered with Axon Passport 1.0. The protection program includes a two-year warranty, a 30-day buyer's remorse policy and free shipping.
