Nick Jonas and Kate Hudson stirred speculations they are dating after they were spotted hanging out together on several occasions following Hudson's split from fiancé Matthew Bellammy. However, Nick refused to address the rumors during a recent appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

The interview started out with a conversation about real estate since apparently Ellen is Nick's landlady. However, the show host didn't want to talk about how Nick is still paying rent despite his success. So she asked the 23-year-old about his current relationship status.

Opening up about his split from beauty queen Olivia Culpo, Nick mentioned how it's been "an adjustment" for him to be touring and promoting his projects alone.

"I was with my ex now for two years and then when my life dramatically changed and I started touring and doing all these projects it was an adjustment kind of doing it alone," Nick is heard saying in the video below.

But then Ellen teased Nick about his rumored romance with Hudson. She brought up how it's not a coincidence that he always ends up in the same location with someone (Hudson).

"You don't seem to be alone. There's someone who ends up being in the same city as you all the time coincidentally," she teased Nick during the interview.

However, instead of expounding or questioning Ellen's statements, Nick instead gave a smart comeback to evade any questions about the actress.

"I'm never alone. I have you," he told Ellen.

Hudson had recently also addressed the dating rumors during a guest appearance on "Watch What Happens Live" on Tuesday. In the video below a caller is heard asking the actress point-black if it's true that she is dating Nick. The audience soon erupted into cheers upon hearing the question and even show host Andy Cohen looked thrilled. The actress however didn't seem surprised to hear the question and only giggled with fellow show guest Zoey Deschanel. When Hudson made no attempt to respond, Cohen then shared his thoughts as to why she and Nick should be together.

"Here's my feeling. You are so hot, Nick Jonas is so hot. I love it when hot people are together. It is my favourite thing," he said.

Hudson only laughed and said that she doesn't "like addressing any kind of gossips." Still Cohen told the 36-year-old that he wished something would happen between her and Nick even if it's just casual.
