Xbox Elite Wireless Controller US Release Date Set, Comes Elite Mappings for 'Halo 5: Guardians' & Other Games
Xbox Elite Wireless Controller's release date in the US is set for Oct. 27. Pre-order is currently available.
According to Xbox Wire, the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller will give users a chance to custom map buttons for their gamers. Furthermore, it will come with various preloaded Elite Mappings for the most popular Xbox games.
For instance, the Elite Mappings will be available for "Forza Motorsport 6" as well as "Gears of War: Ultimate Edition." This Xbox Elite Wireless Controller feature is also available to "Halo 5: Guardians," an upcoming first-person shooter video game developed by 343 Industries also slated for an Oct. 27 release date.
Xbox fans can also expect Elite Mappings to soon be available for other huge game hits. This include "Star Wars Battlefront" and "Call of Duty: Black Ops III."
Upon the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller, fans will be able customize their game controller. The box includes 6 thumbsticks, 4 paddles and 2 D-pads. Those who wish to add more can avail add-ons soon, to be created by Scuf Gaming.
Meanwhile, "Halo 5: Guardians Component Kits, created by PowerA, are already available for $29.99. A Charging Stand from the same company can be purchased for $39.99 beginning early December. This already includes a 1400 mAH battery plus an extra battery door to make direct-contact charging on the stand easier.

The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller has also been approved for use in all Major League Gaming competitions and activities.
