Finally, the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is here, and it will be primarily available in the U.S. and Canada.

According to a report from TechRadar, the brand new Surface Pro 4 is now available at a starting price of $899 or approximately £799. The Surface Pro 4 has been deliberately designed to be thinner with a 12.3-inch display. Since it is the latest model in the Surface Pro series, it is also expected to be more powerful than its predecessor, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3.

The report also notes that the timing of Surface Pro 4's release couldn't be more perfect as Apple has just launched their iPad Pro while Lenovo has their IdeaPad Miix 700 and Toshiba their Satellite Radius 12.

According to CNET, the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book are the latest flagship.devices from Microsoft after launching Windows 10, which was introduced in the said devices to raise their market value. Since Oct. 7, the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has been available for pre-order through Microsoft's website or other e-commerce sites such as Staples, Amazon and Best Buy.

The Surface book, however, can only be acquired via pre-order on the Microsoft website. This latest innovation from Microsoft has been the culmination of years of planning, which eventually resulted to a unique and powerful gadget for consumers.

The Surface Pro 4 and the Surface Book have individually made their own statements on the market. The former is perfect for those with artistic skills while the latter caters to business-related tasks. The Surface Pro runs with a Core i5 or Core i7 processor, depending on the configuration. It can be integrated with a bigger storage capacity and Random Access Memory. The Surface Pro 4 comes with 1 TB of SSD storage while its price range depends on the device's configuration, as seen on the price list on TechRadar.

The accessories that come with the new Surface Pro 4 include a redesigned cover and the Surface Pro Pen. The Surface Pro Pen is equipped with a magnetic contactor so that it can be attached to the side of the Surface Pro for convenience. For the Surface Pro's battery, TechRadar notes that users can enjoy up to nine hours of usage without charging the device.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is now available for pre-order. However, it could take up weeks before it can be delivered. CNET mentioned that the Microsoft Surface Book has a limited supply in their retail stores, but Microsoft will definitely release more units after Oct. 26.
