"New Girl" star Zooey Deschanel's collaboration with Prince on a new duet called "FALLINLOVE2NITE" first debuted during the Super Bowl episode of the actress' Fox comedy in February.

While fans were delighted with Prince's rare guest appearance where he flipped pancakes and acted as Jess' love guru on New Girl. Prince has given music buff's an equally delightful treat when on Friday, Prince's "funk 'n' roll" band, 3RDEYEGIRL, tweeted out the link to the full-length track, reports Entertainment Weekly.

The song begins with the line, "Anybody want to fall in love tonight?," and Prince and Zooey combine to make a the dance-hall worthy funky tune. RollingStone writes that the song is an update of Prince's helium-voiced late-Eighties "Camille" persona but coupled with Deschanel's unique voice gives the song a seductive, upbeat experience.

The song has been streaming in full on YouTube but it remains unclear if the song will be included on Prince's upcoming record titled "Plectrumelectrum." Prince recently appeared on the "Arsenio Hall Show"where he performed his new song "Funknroll."

The 34-year-old Zoeey didn't take long to share the song by posting on Twitter on Friday (@ZooeyDeschanel): "For those of you asking - here's the song I was lucky enough to sing on with Prince! https://dlvr.it/57rFLs."

The Hollywood Reporter shares that the guest role of Prince resulted after the artists' camp reached out to the "New Girl" producers earlier this season following the show's attept to to recruit him for a cameo in 2013.

"He said, 'I'm a big fan. I'd love to do the show at some point in the future,'" said New Girl creator Liz Meriwether. "That was also definitely about trying to figure out what was within the world of the show, but it was just so fun to watch and shoot. We just felt, again, it was one of those moments where we're like, 'Well, let's just go for it.' I think we can come back from this without losing all of our integrity. Basically, it's just awesome to see."

Recently, TV series "New Girl" has been picked up by Fox to air for a fourth season.
