"WWE SmackDown" continued the build for "Survivor Series" with a strong focus on The Wyatt Family.

The taping started with a video promo featuring The Wyatt Family. Bray Wyatt issues a challenge for three WWE superstars to compete against his fellow members -- Braun Strowman, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper. Wyatt had The Undertaker's hat and Kane's mask with him.

Afterwards, in the ring, Roman Reigns delivers a promo about the challenges he's encountered leading up to his next opportunity to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Reigns did win a fatal-four-way match during the last "Monday Night Raw" to fight Seth Rollins for the title at "Survivor Series." Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens appeared. During "Raw," Reigns did pin Owens to secure the win. Owens clearly wanted payback. The first match of the show was Reigns vs. Owens. Reigns won by count-out and it was a non-title match.

In a stacked tag-team match, The Lucha Dragons defeated The Ascension, The Dudley Boyz and King Barrett with Sheamus. Rusev was absent as he reportedly suffered an injury during the "WWE Main Event" taping prior to "SmackDown." WWE Tag Team Champions New Day were at ringside.

In honor of Halloween, The Miz and Dolph Ziggler fought in a "Trick or Treat Street Fight." Ziggler won the match, but Tyler Breeze attacked him afterwards.

In divas action, Page defeated Natalya. It was Paige's first match after re-solidifying her status as a heel when she attacked Becky Lynch and Divas Champion Charlotte during "Monday Night Raw." Team B.A.D., Naomi, Sasha Banks and Tamina, appeared in the match to further beat down Natalya.

United States Champion Alberto Del Rio made his "SmackDown" return as he fought in a non-title match against R-Truth. Del Rio returned at "Hell in a Cell" and accepted John Cena's United States Championship Open Challenge. Cena lost the match in a considerably clean fashion. On "SmackDown," Del Rio defeated Truth.

Finally, it was main event time and the Wyatts' challengers were Cesaro, Dean Ambrose and Ryback. To further build their momentum, the Wyatts won the match -- specifically it was Harper pinning Cesaro. Roman Reigns came in to save the good guys.

Throughout the show, Bo Dallas appeared in backstage segments, in a ghost costume. Mark Henry eventually attacked him to put an end to those segments.
