Tyson Beckford hasn't put his beef with Chris Brown completely behind him, telling reporters this week that Brown is "dead" to him.

Beckford's comment to TMZ comes months after Brown threatened to have his associates do bodily harm to the actor and model, after Beckford was spied hanging out with Brown's ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran in Las Vegas and dared to post pics on social media to prove it. 

The statement seems to be somewhat of a change from the way Beckford characterized their relationship earlier this month, when he told TMZ he had no beef with Brown because the crooner was beneath him and "nowhere near his level."

"When you're someone who's at my level and you realize someone else is not really all there, you just say, 'You know what, I'm just gonna let you slide because I realize you're not all there,'" Beckford said at the time.

Brown and Tran split earlier this year, when it became public knowledge that he had fathered a child with another woman behind her back while they were still dating. For a while, Brown appeared intent on trying to win his ex-girlfriend back. But more recently, he has appeared to have decided to move on and focus more attention on his year-old daughter, for whom he now shares joint custody with her mother Nia Guzman.

Over that same time, Brown and Tran have bickered over social media. One of Brown's associates recently told reporters Tran should be more "grateful" for the way Brown made her famous, instead of attempting to tear him down in interviews.

"Let's be clear about it, there would be no Karrueche Tran if she hadn't dated Chris Brown," a source close to Brown recently claimed. "The world would not know who Karrueche Tran is if she didn't inject herself into Chris' life after the Rihanna incident."
