Brad Pitt will be joining wife Angelina Jolie back on the big screen for the first time since "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" with "By the Sea." But this time, she will be in the director's chair as well. Pitt had quite a few things to say about working for his wife and what their home life is like with their children.

In an interview for the fall issue of V Magazine, as reported by E! News, Pitt sees himself as strangely normal, or more so than the world sees him as this.

Pitt and Jolie are the parents of six children, which includes Maddox (14), Pax (11), Zahara (10), Shiloh (9) and twins Knox and Vivienne (7).

Although both of them are world-traveling movie stars and philanthropists, Pitt says when he is home with his children, his day is spent with them much like that of any other father in society.

"At the end of the day, we get to be parents, greeting our lovely, crazy children and talking about their day, making sure they brush their teeth," Pitt told V Magazine.

It sounds poetic and strangely normal for someone who has such a polarizing identity as a handsome leading man in Hollywood. Couple that with a man who has a wife with the same credentials on the female side and the situation just seems surreal. But Pitt stands by his assertion that his life as a husband and a father is very much the same as others.

In regards to working with Jolie, not just as a co-lead in the film, but with her as a boss, he also reveals that he is just as inspired by her at work, according to Vanity Fair, via V Magazine.

"[It's] surprising how much I enjoy the direction of my wife," Pitt said. "She's decisive, incredibly intuitive, knife-sharp, and might I say, sexy at her post. I trust her with my life."
