Nick will go on a blood thirty quest for revenge when the long-awaited Season 5 premiere of "Grimm" kicks off Friday night.

Series star David Giuntoli revealed that the premiere will pick up exactly where the Season 4 finale left off and that his character, Nick, will be hungry for vengeance.

At the end of Season 4, Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni) shot and killed Nick's girlfriend Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) with a crossbow in order to save his life. Nick also discovered that his arch nemesis, Adalind (Claire Coffee), was pregnant with his child and that his mother was murdered.

This series of tragic events will inevitably put Nick in a dark place and push him over the edge in the new season.

"He's more out for revenge than he ever has been," said Giuntoli during a video interview with NBC affiliate WWLP. "He doesn't care about the police procedure part of things. He's all Grimm, no cop."

Fans will also see Adalind give birth to Nick's child in the season opener, reports TVGuide. After delivering her second child, the Hexenbiest will go to great lengths to be a better mother and live a relatively normal life with Nick and their half-Grimm, half-Hexenbiest child.

Later on in the season, viewers will be introduced to Monroe's uncle, a German man named Felix Dietrich who is described as "bespectacled, bookish [and] slightly off-center," teases TVLine. In Episode 10, the antiquarian bookseller will discover very old volumes about Grimms, which will be helpful considering Juliette destroyed a lot of information about Grimms she torched the trailer. However, Felix will also find himself being followed by those who are willing to kill in order to secure the books. This will lead him to travel to America and ask Monroe for help.

According to Dread Central, the season premiere synopsis reads as follows:

"In the wake of his mother's beheading and Juliette's death, things have never been more chaotic for Nick. Having lost so much, Nick must dig deep and decide what type of person he wants to be, while also coming to grips with fathering a child with his once sworn enemy, Adalind (Claire Coffee). His search for the truth leads him to FBI Agent Chavez and puts him at odds with those close to him," the synopsis reads.

"Grimm" Season 5 premieres on Friday, Oct. 30, 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
