Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant could play in the Nov. 1 game of his team against the Seattle Seahawks.

Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones gave an update about Bryant, The Dallas Morning News reported. Bryant, who suffered a foot injury during their first game against the New York Giants, per Sports Center, may be seen on the field again on Sunday.

"He looked good in practice and should do even more tomorrow. It's premature to say he'll play Sunday, but he's on target to play this weekend if this continues," Jones said.

It truly created an optimistic atmosphere for the Giants to see their wide receiver practicing this week. It gave them hope, especially after losing the franchise quarterback Tony Romo after week two due to a clavicle injury sustained in the game against the Philadelphia Eagles, per NFL.com.

The team had a positive outlook knowing Bryant, who posted 1,320 passing yards last season, per ESPN stats, is back, as attested by quarterback Matt Cassel. Cassel replaced Romo while he is recovering from his injury.

"It was great to see him out there. Everybody's excited to have him out there," Cassel said.

"He's a special player... we're happy to have him back and hopefully we can get some timing down over these next few days as we move into this weekend," Cassel added.

It was such a great relief on the team's part if Bryant could actually play this weekend. It was thought, per a report by Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, that he could be out for 10 to 12 weeks.

However, it seemed that the original prediction of him being unavailable to play for four to six weeks, per the Sports Center's announcement, may hold true.

Bryant likely had focused on his recovery, especially after hearing nice words from his quarterback Romo. Right after he was injured, Romo shared his opinion on the Cowboys' website how it was such a heartbreaking news.

"That's a tough loss. You can't replace Dez Bryant," Romo said.

"No one's going to be Dez Bryant, but the guys can do what they do well and it's my job to help that whole situation," Romo added.

Romo toughened up for the team to achieve another win after their first game. His speedy recovery may be Bryant's way of inspiring his team, which failed to win four games after their game with the Eagles, per the team's site, to bounce back.
