Chris Brown is defending ex Karrueche Tran, after some of his fans attacked her for what they perceived to be her recent diss of the "Loyal" singer.

According to IBTimes, in the latest episode in the ongoing tension between the two, Tran shared a meme made by a fan on Instagram mocking Brown's rumored gang ties. A picture, which has since been deleted, of Tran dressed head-to-toe in a Lil' Kim "Crush on You" blue Halloween costume was captioned, "When you see ya ex who's a blood."

When Brown's fans reacted to the post, the singer commented indirectly with a Twitter post that read, "Ya'll should just stop." That post has now also been deleted as well.

"[Chris Brown] is definitely trying to avoid contact with her and asked his assistant to ensure that he doesn't end up at the same place that [Tran] is partying," a source close to Brown recently told reporters. The source later admitted there is still much "bitterness and anger between them."

Tran and Brown split earlier this year, after it was revealed he had fathered a child with another woman behind his girlfriend's back. Initially, Brown tried winning his ex-girlfriend back, but now he seems content with the breakup.

Some media outlets have even reported Brown has rekindled his relationship with former girlfriend Rihanna, whom he first split from in 2009 after a domestic violence case that resulted in him being sentenced to probation.

After recently taking Nia Guzman, the mother of his child, to court, Brown now has joint custody of his year-old daughter Royalty. He and Guzman recently vowed to cooperate peacefully in hopes of raising their daughter positively.

Meanwhile, Tran has recently been linked to Rob Kardashian.
