‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 Episode 5 Spoilers: Alexandria Not Getting Safer, Steven Yeun Removed From Credits [Watch]
Knowing what fans know now about the Wolves, the group at Alexandria on the "The Walking Dead" will have to contend with the real possibility that the community may not be safe for them to stay at much longer.
Episode 5, titled "Now," will air on cable network AMC next Sunday, Nov. 8 at 9 p.m. EST, according to TV Guide.
Now that fans are caught up with the back story of how Morgan came to be a man of peace and tranquility, which was a stark contrast to the man Rick and Carl encountered in Season 4, staying in Alexandria may turn out to be out of the question.
The sheltered existence that the people there have had since the onslaught of the Walker apocalypse is proving to be both detrimental to themselves as well as Rick's own group. When it comes down to fight or die, Rick's people are having to risk their own lives to save the Alexandrians. Evidence of that is how Glenn (Steven Yeun) turned out in Episode 3, which is still an unknown fate for the character.
According to Spoilers Guide, the amount of set backs they have been facing at Alexandria puts the future of the community into question. Every time they overcome a challenge, a new one pops up. In order to make the community safer, or at least to reinforce their walls, they need to secure the outside. But the constant threat of Walkers and the Wolves hangs over them.
The mood within the community grows grim and almost despondent. The people are losing hope and faith in the securities they have already set up for themselves.
TVLine reports that actor Steven Yeun (Glenn) has been omitted from the opening sequence of credits as of the last episode on Sunday. It is unclear at this time if that means that Glenn is actually dead or if the producers are trying not to give away any spoilers regarding his fate.
