'Olaf' Taylor Swift Invites 'Ice Queen' Idina Menzel In '1989' Tour, Sing 'Let It Go' Together
The country-turned-pop singer may be working all Halloween long as she did her final leg of "1989" tour in Tampa, Florida but she never forgets how to enjoy the holiday even while on duty as a singer.
In her Halloween performance, Taylor Swift adorably dressed up as "Olaf" from Disney's 2014 hit movie, "Frozen" and even took the Ice Queen, Elsa, who is voiced by Idina Menzel, for a performance on the stage. According to the Daily Mail, the duo sang the famed anthem of the hit movie, "Let It Go."
Although the pair looked entirely cute in their Halloween costumes, it was not long until they changed their outfits. From her charming snowman costume, Swift ripped her outfit and changed quickly into wearing her signature sequined dress. Meanwhile, Menzel got a little help from some of her reindeer friends to rip off her cold, blue gown, bearing her extremely sexy in a pair of black trousers and corset top.
According to a report by Rolling Stone, the Grammy-award winning singer also shared her "Frozen" experience in one of her social media accounts. "Frozen totally happened tonight. And 55,000 people sang 'Let it Go' so loudly, it nearly took my breath away. Good times," Swift said as she posted a picture of her and Menzel on Instagram.
Prior to singing 2014's fifth best-selling single together, Swift had already stepped out in her plump Olaf costume and sang one of her album hits, "Style." Afterwards, Menzel popped into the stage and belted the song together with the highest-paid musician in the world.
The Oscar award-winning actress and singer also thanked Swift for the fun experience as she replied to Swift's post. "Thank you @taylorswift! That was definitely an out of body experience. Or out of Elsa's body experience! #1989tourtampa," Menzel replied.
Swift has been a favorite of concert-goers, as she is always expected to bring a surprise performance by her other music celebrity friends. Recently, Swift surprised North Carolina with a cameo performance by country singer Miranda Lambert.
Aside from Lambert, Swift has tagged numerous other performers in her "1989" tour including Mick Jagger, Ricky Martin, Pitbull, Ellie Goulding, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Nelly, Steve Tyler, Leona Lewis, Wiz Khalifa, Avril Lavigne, Selina Gomez, Justin Timberlake, Beck, John Legend, Alanis Morissette, Fetty Wap, Mary J Blige, Jason Derulo, Lorde, Nick Jonas, Haim, The Weeknd, Jason Derulo, Imagine Dragons and even Phoebe Buffet from Friends.
