'Criminal Minds' Season 11 Episode 5 Recap, Episode 6 Spoilers: BAU Seeks Killer Targeting Cheerleaders [Watch]
Fans of "Criminal Minds" can look forward to another intense new episode on Wednesday, as the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) investigates the murders of cheerleaders in a town filled with sex offenders.
Episode 5 last week ended with a shocking twist, according to BuddyTV, after the BAU team went on the hunt for a murderer who was trying to frame a famous local street artist in Detroit. The killer incorporated murder victims in art work that imitated that of the artist known as Morpheus.
The FBI agents discovered that Morephus was actually a woman and that the suspect was the father of her deceased child. Unfortunately, the team was not able to save her before her ex killed her and then himself.
In Wednesday's upcoming Episode 6, which is titled "Pariahville," the team will find it difficult to track down a murderer targeting cheerleaders in a town full of criminals.
The episode will also include a storyline involving Dr. Tara Lewis' personal life. According to the synopsis, Aisha Tyler's character will receive a new job offer that might lead her to leave the BAU. Tyler was cast in the recurring role to temporarily replace actress A.J. Cook, who is on maternity leave. Cook, however, confirmed in an Instagram photo that she will reprise her role as JJ on the series in Episode 7, which is scheduled to air next week.
According to CarterMatt, the synopsis for Episode 6 reads, "When a woman is murdered in a small town in Florida inhabited entirely by sex offenders, the BAU faces a community full of suspects. Also, Lewis receives a career opportunity that may take her away from the BAU."
Season 11 Episode 5 of "Criminal Minds," "Pariahville," will premiere on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
