NBA 2K16 has released a patch to address a long list of bugs that PC users have experienced while playing the basketball simulator. Improvements have been made to several of the popular game modes including MyGM and MYPark.
NBA 2K16 should now perform a little better on the PC thanks to a patch update, Segment Next reports. This 4 GB file will help the game perform better and should eliminate glitches.
Here are some of the important updates and fixes released in the patch:
For users that wish to change around keyboard settings to their liking, customized keyboard configurations are now allowed.
Commentary was reported as cutting in and out during gameplay. As a result, this patch has smoothed out in-game commentary, and voices should no longer get interrupted during a game.
For owners of computers with low-end and mid-range graphics cards, an option called "Media People Detail Level" can be reduced. This will help improve performance of the game despite the struggles of these graphics cards.
The main menu screen would sometimes freeze with the title screen when players tried to advance into game modes. This issue has been fixed with this patch.
Just like in the other patches for the Xbox and PlayStation versions of the game, crowd excitement and intensity has been increased during buzzer beaters.
In the MyPark mode, Pro-Am Team Play has been added. This means full teams can now play in custom-made arenas.
A rare glitch would cause the ball to get stuck in High Roller Courts. This meant that the game would not finish. This issue has been addressed and fixed in this patch.
Improvements have been made so that player stats will be more accurate during simulated games.
Various hang ups were discovered in the game that caused delays and frozen screens. These should all be addressed and fixed with this patch.
Downloading the patch will not cause players to lose any of their saved data.
