Justin Bieber's Rumored Ex-Girlfriend Jasmine Villegas Six Months Pregnant With First Child
Jasmine Villegas, a.k.a. Jasmine V., shared the exciting news of her pregnancy during an interview with Cosmo for Latinas. The 22-year-old said she knows the challenges that come along with the pregnancy but admitted nevertheless that she cannot wait to be a mum.
Jasmine told Cosmo for Latinas that she is six months pregnant with her first child with her long-time boyfriend. Though she didn't mention her boyfriend's name, the singer said he is very supportive of her pregnancy and that "everything is going well."
The 22-year-old, who was once rumored to be Justin Bieber's girlfriend after she appeared on his music video for "Baby," told the publication how she first reacted when she found out she was pregnant.
"Well, it came as a total shock. You take the test, and you're not sure, and then you take another one. It was a very crazy moment for me; I never thought I would have a baby at 22, but I'm definitely excited. I'm super excited to meet my baby and to be a mom," she said.
Prior to her pregnancy, Jasmine has graced several ad campaigns. She also toured the world with famous artists including Jake Miller and this year with Fifth Harmony.
According to OK! magazine, she has also worked with Kendrick Lamar. However, her career will soon take a different turn because of her pregnancy. When asked how she will manage her career now, especially with a new album close to release, the singer told Cosmo for Latinas that she accepts there will be big changes but said she is willing to embrace the consequences.
"Of course, there are different consequences I can't run on stage and perform. And I'll have to work 10 times harder. There will be no 'off' days anymore," she told the publication.
However, on the good side, Jasmine says despite her pregnancy she can still continue making music. She told Cosmo for Latinas that she will "still be recording songs." She also expressed her excitement to chronicle her journey with her pregnancy through social media and share it with her followers.
Jasmine also revealed that her parents have been supportive of her and are really excited for the baby. In the same interview with Cosmo for Latinas, she also talked about the initial nervousness she felt about going public with the pregnancy. However, she revealed that in Latino culture, it's normal for girls to get pregnant at a young age.
"But I've always known that I wanted kids, and I know that I'm old enough and that I'm responsible," she said.
