It looks like LG is getting certified, this time by the FCC, where one of their unnamed devices is slated to have a wireless charging capability.

Phone Arena was able to acquire some data about the said certification, and based on their judgment, it could be the LG G4 that's getting the said feature. This may come as a sigh of relief from interested consumers as the LG G4 didn't primarily take on the wireless charging feature when it was first introduced. Tagged as the "H815PX" on the FCC website, the supposed LG G4 is also named "H815P" in South America and South Africa, GSM Arena reports.

With several flagship phones recently released by LG, it's hard to tell which one of them is getting the wireless charging feature. While it points mainly on the LG G4, the website also thinks that it could also be the LG G5. Setting that idea aside, if this is indeed going to be the LG G4, it would probably be a refreshed version of the model so they can eventually integrate the new charging feature. Documents taken from the FCC have neither confirmed the exact model to receive the latest update.

TechTimes reported that while there is a significant addition to the unnamed device's features, there will be no changes on its hardware capabilities. LG's take on the holiday season may have propelled them to release a new feature that will significantly change the way consumers think of the LG G4, if it proves true that it's the one getting the new feature.

Rumors say that the LG G5 is scheduled to be introduced this November, and if the possibility of it pushing through succeeds, there might be some shed of light for the "H815PX" that appeared on the FCC website.

GSM Arena also reported that the LG G4 will take on Android's latest OS update, the Marshmallow 6.0, and it has been initially introduced in Poland last month. The release has been considered as a test run for the LG G4 model, considering how Poland provides very minimal market for smartphone enthusiasts.

South Korean consumers will also get an upgrade on the LG G4 model with new feature such as the Doze mode coming to the LG F-500K, LG-F500L and LG-F500S in particular.
