Madonna’s Rebel Heart Tour Makes $46M And Counting
Madonna has made $46 million thus far on her Rebel Heart tour.
The "Living For Love" 57-year-old pop singer has only been on the road for two months and has already made a hefty amount, according Us Weekly. In all the singer has performed for over 300,000 fans at 24 shows.
For first leg of Madonna's tenth tour she has traveled to venues in the United States and Canada. The tour officially kicked off in Montreal on Sept. 9.
Out of all the shows the highest-grossing were the Sept. 16 and 17 at New York's Madison Square Garden, which racked up a combined ticket sales count of 28,371. Amy Schumer opened up for the singer at these two concerts. The concert at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Oct. 24 totaled an impressive $3.5 million in a single night. The largest crowd for a single night was 14,258 at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Sept. 19.
Some of the hits the singer has been performing regularly while on the tour include her classics, such as "Like a Virgin," "Holiday," "Deeper and Deeper" and "True Blue" along with songs from her newest offering, "Rebel Heart."
The singer's Rebel Heart tour will continue to make its way over to Europe, Asia and Oceania wrapping up on March 27, 2016.
In the past Madonna has succeeded in putting together one of the most lucrative tours ever with her Sticky & Sweet tour. This tour made $408 million total in 2008 and 2009 and ranked No. 5 on the list of highest-grossing tours of all time.
Madonna released her 13th studio album, "Rebel Heart," on March 6. The album, which peaked at number two on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, has produced the singles "Living for Love," "Ghosttown" and "Bitch I'm Madonna."
