‘Warcraft’ Releases Latest Epic New Trailer For 2016 Movie Based on Game [Watch]
In what appears to be an epic new film, "Warcraft" has officially released the first trailer with stunning visuals and an expertly crafted story, based on the 21-year-old game of the same name.
According to Deadline, the trailer is a fantastic mockup of creative cinema effects mixed in with live-action characters that mirrors other epic films like the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy.
The trailer itself debuted yesterday at BlizzCon in Anaheim, California, which is an annual event put on by video game producer Blizzard Entertainment to promote their brand games.
With its Middle-Earth like setting and glamorous visuals, "Warcraft" is all but guaranteed not to disappoint.
The basic concept for the film, which is derived from the video game, is that it takes place in a fantasy world where human armies go up against Orc armies and various other dangerous creatures of legend that could presumably decimate a human being.
The characters and creatures in the film have been well developed and mixed perfectly for the film style of flavor. Even the storytelling seems to be on par with high-level movies.
The film features the acting talents of Hollywood's best, which includes Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Paula Patton, Daniel Wu and Clancy Brown.
There has been a stigma attached to films that are based on video games of the same name. They have never really performed well at the domestic box-office. But for what they lack stateside, they almost always make up for overseas.
Even though the "Resident Evil" franchise has seen some moderate success in the U.S., a lion share of its box-office earnings has been from the international arena.
The trailer is a fairly early release, considering he film is not scheduled to debut in the U.S. until next summer, on June 10, 2016. But there is already enough hype for it following the trailer's release that it is gaining a lot of steam.
