Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi Fighting Over Starting Family Together, Now Living Apart?
Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi are rumored to be on the outs once more amid reports the two are still feuding about having a child together.
According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, after seemingly getting back on track in their seven year marriage the couple recently hit a speed bump when IVF treatments for de Rossi failed and DeGeneres informed her devastated wife they were done trying.
"Their relationship is falling apart," a source said. "They have some massive issues to work out. Ellen can be very selfish, she wants things to go her way."
Reports are the two are now living apart and regularly attending couple's therapy. It's also rumored things have become so emotional for de Rossi she breaks down in tears each time she sees a baby.
It's not the first time de Rossi has known heartbreak when it comes to the prospect of the couple starting a family together.
Several media outlets previously reported de Rossi was recently left "heartbroken" when the pair's plans to adopt also fell through.
"It's been a difficult year for them behind closed doors," a source said.
Truth is much of their drama has played out in plain view for all to see. Back in 2014, all their persistent fighting was crucial in landing de Rossi in a drug and alcohol treatment facility. Not long after that, In Touch Weekly also reported the two recently had a huge fight, after returning from a vacation to South Africa, over de Rossi's career plans and rumors of DeGeneres' infidelity.
"Portia told Ellen that once she starts filming 'Scandal' again, she'll be married to her job," a source said.
That news reportedly didn't sit well with the 57-year-old DeGeneres, long rumored to be in complete control of her wife's every move.
"They wound up in a big screaming match and didn't speak again for days," a source said of the confrontation. "It doesn't look like they will ever be able to get back on track."
