The unending update of WhatsApp apparently makes it one of the most likeable messaging app while traveling.

According to a report from NeuroGadget, the WhatsApp application serves several OS and it should not be hard installing it on your mobile device. WhatsApp is available on Android, iOS, Blackberry, Windows Phone and Symbian. It initially offers its consumers a year-long free trial. The succeeding year, however, will require consumers to pay a minimal yearly fee for the service. WhatsApp basically lets you do everything that's connected with messaging. Whether you wish to send a simple text, video or MMS, you can do so with the WhatsApp app.

Apple's iPhone line recently received the WhatsApp 2.12.20 Update, which allows users to quickly respond to a message within the notification area. This feature will allow the user to save time opening the message prompt and reply from there. By simply dragging down the notification, the user will be able to write a reply without passing through the long process.

This feature, however, can only be downloaded by those who have the current iOS 9.1 version. Similarly, the WhatsApp 2.12.20 Update allows the user to send a message in case he or she is not able to answer a call. By dragging down the notification, the user can send a quick reply to acknowledge the call.

Installation of the WhatsApp application version 2.12.20 is as easy as going to the Apple app store, tapping on the latest version of the WhatsApp application and installing it on the iPhone device. Once installed, users can immediately start using the app.

For those who are using Android OS, the latest version available is WhatsApp 2.12.334. According to NeuroGadget, the app doesn't just come with some additional features but also serves as an update to fix bugs and other issues in the app. The Android version of WhatsApp with version 2.12.334 is currently in its beta form, which explains why it can't be found on the Google Play Store.

If you wish to try its beta version, the WhatsApp application with update 2.12.334 can be downloaded from third-party hosts like APKMirror. If your phone does not currently accept third-party providers, you may have to change your settings to allow the beta version to be installed in your mobile device. Those who currently have the old version of WhatsApp may need to uninstall it first before getting the new one.
