Last fall, actor and singer Zac Efron purchased a new home in Hollywood Hills for $3.995 million, so it's only fitting that he put up his previous Hollywood Hills West home for sale at $2.849 million, the Los Angeles Times reported.

His West home was originally designed by Rodney Walker to be used for the Case Study Program but was finally built in 1947. Since then, the house has been updated with an industrial vibe.

The star's new home is a Midcentury Modern home, according to the Times.

Efron's house for sale includes walls of glass, two bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and 2,424 square feet of living space. The house also comes with heated concrete floors as part of the open-concept.

The house sits on nearly a third of an acre lot and comes with an infinity-edge swimming pool. The previous owner sold the house in 2008 for $2.35 million.

The 26-year-old heartthrob became popular among millions of adoring teenagers after starring as Troy Bolton in the hit Disney Channel movie High School Musical. Disney turned the movie into a full-blown franchise after the film became gaining a lot of notoriety in 2006.

High School Musical 2 premiered on the Disney Channel in 2007 and was later concluded in the 2008 feature film High School Musical 3: Senior Year, which raked in a little more than $90 million at the box office.

Efron has continued to achieve Hollywood star status by starring in the 2007 musical Hairspary and New Year's Eve in 2011. He starred in this year's That Awkward Moment, and will act alongside Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne in the comedy Neighbors, due out on May 9.

Efron was also a presenter at this year's 86th Academy Awards.

Efron's Hollywood Hills West home is being managed by listing agent Kathrin Nicholson of a Beverly Hills agency.
